Hello again to all followers of this blog, and we apologise for not adding any content for a while. We have been so busy it has just been impossible to create the time to write our thoughts down for you.
As always, we aim to bring you what we consider important consumer news, our mission is to protect you the consumer from poor workmanship, lack of experience and false claims which appear to be commom place on the internet these days.
We tell you how it really is, the truth and nothing but. Unfortunately this upsets some people along the way, but as Exeter and Devon’s most highly recomended upholstery and carpet cleaning company, a company you have decided to keep in business for 30 years we will continue to expose these characters whether they like it or not!
From our stand point, this situation has become intolerable, and from the feedback we get from clients they seem to be very switched on to the plagiarism being carried out on a daily basis by these self proclaimed professionals. They can be found boasting membership of guilds and associations, trade bodies and the like, that in reality mean very little to the unsuspecting consumer. However as long as we can save one more customer from a bad experience, we will continue to bring you the truth.
Much has happened over the summer months, including the launch of our new Carpet Cleaning Devon website, we hope you find this useful.
We also notice the same old suspects trying to pedal their cheaper option carpet and upholstery cleaning. One of these being in Exeter now promoting a new truck mount carpet cleaning system, nothing new about this, lets hope they know how to use it properly! If they think a truck mount qualifies them to refer to themselves as the best carpet cleaning available in Devon then they are totally delusional.
‘They’, we will refer to them only as, ‘Mar***s Cleaning Services of Exeter find it necessary to constantly steal the wording from our websites and business literature, sometimes within hours we find offers and wording from our site appear on their site. Sometimes complete sentences, paragraphs of text and even video footage has been stolen from our sites in a pathetic attempt to gain some work.
However, we know our customers are far too intelligent to fall for this rubbish, and each time we see their duplicate content and plagiarism,
we know they are one step closer to being banned from search engines and a little closer to a passing off order for blatently trying to confuse the public.
They seem to be incapable of marketing their own business, finding it necessary to constantly try and copy our succesful business model,
( a really big compliment to us, in a way, we suppose, so thanks! )
Although their tactics can be easily seen through by prospective clients and the legal profession alike. They continue with this stratergy, it is obvious why! Jelousy and lack of businness experience. Unfortunately for them, they don’t do any of it very well, they have 25 years of catching up to do!
They continue to blatently tell readers of their website out and out lies, they most certainly have not been established since 1999 and they are certainly not the best carpet cleaning service in Devon.
In fact the proprietor was still working for MASTERCLEAN ® at that point, before he was ‘let go’ because of poor workmanship and endless, intolerable customer complaints.
We also have been made aware that this self proclaimed professional has released a video of his carpet cleaning efforts!
Now we really wanted to leave a direct link here to the said video ( which may have vanished by the time you read this ) no need to ask why!, to allow you to see the chaos and judge for yourselves, unfortunately our managing director thought it inapropriate as unreliable links on our pages may get broken over time.
However should you find this video online, please do not think that all carpet cleaning companies conduct themselves this way.
There are many other dedicated, hard working professional carpet cleaning companies in the south west and south east, doing a great job, so don’t be put off by this video, just choose your carpet and upholstery cleaning professional wisely.
Before viewing please re-title the video in your mind, ‘ HOW TO THOROUGHLY SOAK AN 8 YEAR OLD DOMESTIC CARPET ‘ If the said carpet had been wool, they would have been in real trouble! Truckmount or no truckmount!
We regard this video as yet another pathetic ploy to peddle their cheaper option services for free on the web. Please be careful.
We know from past experience it will only be a matter of time before ‘they’ copy something else from our websites or literature, unfortunatley for them, there are some things ‘they’ will never be able to copy, our cleaning systems, fabulous staff members, thousands of recommendations from real life customers, unrivaled extensive knowledge of our business and territories gained over 3 decades of paid for marketing, unsurpassed hands on specialist experience within our very specialist field, (we don’t clean windows or dust offices), a huge customer base and excellent reputation, across south west and south east england, and a collaboration with some of the most well known and reputable local businesses in the area, to name just a few!
However we wish them luck in their endevours, if they continue trying to compare themselves to Masterclean ®, they are going to need plenty of it!
We find his actions quite amusing and look forward to their next installment!
We have had some alarming reports from a few of their unhappy customers over the years.
The other suspect, based in Kingsbridge, has been seen recently to be promoting his business as the best carpet cleaning Devon has to offer, ex window cleaners who have recently changed their business name completely, confusing if nothing else.
Nothing wrong with changing your business name, but why on earth change a name if its recognised all around Devon as the best carpet cleaning Devon has to offer? We find it ridiculous, so goodness knows how the public must feel!
Use these cheap copy cat cleaners at your peril, they bare no resemblance whatsoever to the service Masterclean ® provide. As usual they try their best to mimmick what we do providing very poor results and a service that falls short of the excellent standards we set.
Please remember low priceing should never be the deciding factor in choosing a carpet and upholstery cleaning company, if they are charging a very low price, be cautious. If you want a high-quality level of service, you must and should expect to pay for it.
With some of the prices we hear of, passed on to us from conversations with clients put off by these low prices, who have booked with us, no wonder they have to offer goodness knows how many other services along side their carpet and upholstery cleaning to make a living, they will clean your office, windows, garden, patio, gutters, floor tiles and goodness knows what else, if they didn’t they would be out of business, and fast.
We specialise in cleaning your carpets and soft furnishings ONLY, and have done for the past 30 years and more. There is not another company with more hands on cleaning experience of carpets and soft furninshings available, we guarantee it.
We have to thank everyone again for their continued repeat custom, and glowing reports and recommendations. We appreciate them all so very much.

And it’s work we wish to talk about as always on this blog. When we say work, carpet and upholstery cleaning and providing the best carpet and upholstery cleaning service in Exeter, Devon, Somerset And Dorset has become more of an addiction over the past 30 years or so!.
After all, it’s what we do, all day and every day to the highest standard possible.
We just don’t know where all the work comes from, don’t get us wrong we really appreciate every single job you book with us no matter how large or small, but my goodness it has been so very busy.
Of course customers in the know and all you avid internet browsers will know, there are many inferior carpet and upholstery cleaning companies available to choose from in Exeter Devon and beyond, so called ‘experts’, constantly trying to put a spanner in the works, to no effect we might add, with their false outlandish claims and down right lies, cheap and nasty websites designed to make a fast buck and prices that are so low they are not only astonishing but wreak of desperation.

Maybe as a company we attract a different kind of client? we have always believed our customers are intelligent enough to make the correct choice by themselves, so many of you choose MASTERCLEAN ® already, usually because of our reputation and relationship with the consumer and the way we present ourselves to them, more often than not, through recommendation!
We have been in this business for 30 years and know it and our territories inside out, we realise we are more expensive than some others, but our clients realise they are paying for something better, something a bit special that nobody else offers.
