When you come across really greasy kitchen tiles, try this

get some soda crystals and mix them up into a nice strong solution, apply to the tiles and leave to dwell for a while, maybe 5 to 7 minutes, then wipe the tiles down with a clean, damp, soft cloth. Your greasy tiles will sparkle!
